If you are arriving in your own motor vehicle, street parking is prohibited and the speed limit is 5 kph in the center of the village. The streets are paved with uneven stone, making walking a bit difficult.

To Tunja: every 15 minutes 5:30 a.m.-6 p.m., 45 minutes, $2.35.

From Tunja: 6 a.m.-7 p.m.

To Bogotá: daily 5 a.m., 1 p.m., Sunday and holidays 3 p.m., 3.5 hours, $8.50.

From Bogotá: daily 4:40 a.m., 2:40 p.m.

To Santa Sofía: 6:45 a.m., 7 a.m., 9 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 30 minutes, $1.60. From Santa Sofía: 6:15 a.m., 9 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 3 p.m., 5:15 p.m.

To Ráquira: 7:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 30 minutes, $2.10. From Ráquira: 4:15 a.m. or transfer at the crossroads near Tinjacá (on Chiquinquirá-Sutamarchán-Villa de Leyva road).

To Ganchantivá: 6:45 a.m., 9 a.m., 2 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 1 hour, $2.10.

From Ganchantivá: 8:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 5:30 p.m.

To La Periquera / Uvalito: 6 busetas 6:45 a.m.-5 p.m., 40 minutes, $1.60.

From La Periquera / Uvalito: 6:20 a.m., 11:40 a.m., 4:40 p.m.

To Iguaque park / Arcabuco: seven departures 6 a.m.-5:30 p.m., 40 minutes / 1 hour, $1.60 / 2.10.

From Arcabuco, passing by Iguaque: 8:45 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 4 p.m.

To Chiquinquirá: hourly 6 a.m.-5:30 p.m., 1 hour, $3.

From Chiquinquirá: hourly 6 a.m.-4 p.m.

To Sutamarchán: 5 departures 7 a.m.-4 p.m., 20 minutes, $1.05.

From Sutamarchán: 9 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m.

You can also hire a taxi at the bus station to take you to sites throughout the area. Depending on the route, a four-hour excursion will cost $37-42 per vehicle.
