Colombia Highlands has a variety of half- and full-day outings to the standard Villa de Leyva sights. Adventure tours are another item on the agenda, with rappelling and caving opportunities. Owner Oscar Gilède, though, has something special to offer visitors to this region: scientific tourism. This biologist and eco-instructor can specially tailor your outing for bird watching, entomology (including spiders), geology, botany or amphibians.
