Dosel is the term used for the highest part of the tree canopy, usually about 35-40 meters (115-130 feet). At Reserva Tanimboca, you can climb up to those heights and explore an 80-meter (300-foot) trail from tree to tree, through the neighborhood inhabited by lizards, birds and monkeys ($32 per person). Other activities include ecological land walks and kayaking on the Río Tacana ($11). Nighttime excursions through the jungle ($24-37, depending on number of participants, including transportation) or in search of caimans are other options.
