The décor of Restaurante Tropical is just as delightful as the food it serves. Jungle kitsch abounds amongst the plants and aquariums. The jaguar with the safari helmet is a kick. The tables out on the front porch are a delightfully cool place to enjoy breakfast ($2.65-3.20) or a menu ejecutivo (blue plate special) ($2.65). For a lighter snack, have a sandwich or burger with fried potatoes ($1.60-2.65). Besides the usual fruit drinks and beer, Restaurante Tropical also mixes up caipirinha ($1.60).
