Puerto Nariño has no bank or casa de cambio. Obtain plaenty of Colombian pesos before leaving Leiticia.

You can make local ($0.20) and national ($0.25) calls from Comcel (Monday-Saturday 8 a.m.-noon, 2-7 p.m., Saturday 8-10 a.m. Carrera 6 and Calle 8). Compartel provides slow internet ($1.05 per hour) and national and international call services (Monday-Saturday 8 a.m.-noon, 2-5 p.m., 6-9 p.m. Carrera 6 and Calle 5).

Medical
Puerto Nariño’s hospital is up Calle 5 at Carrera 4. You can purchase medications there or at the general store across from the waterfront Parque Principal.
