Money
Puerto Nariño has no banks or exchange houses. Obtain plenty of Colombian pesos before leaving Leticia.

Keeping in Touch
You can make local and national calls from Comcel (Monday-Saturday 8 a.m.-noon and 2-7 p.m., Saturday 8-10 a.m. Cra. 6 and Ca. 8). Compartel (Monday-Saturday 8 a.m.-noon, 2-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Cra. 6 and Ca. 5) provides slow Internet as well as national and international call services.

Medical
Puerto Nariño’s hospital is up Calle 5 at Carrera 4. You can purchase medications there or at the general store across from the waterfront Parque Principal.
