The city has a quantity of casas de cambio, most located in the Centro Comercial Centauros (Cra. 31, 37-32). One is

Keeping in TouchVillavicencio has a Telecom office (Ca. 37, 42-12), but the city has many other local and national call services as well. The post office, 4-72 (Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-noon and 2-6 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.-noon) is located at Calle 39, 32-02. Internet is somewhat common, with cyber cafés mostly located on Calle 38 past the main plaza; most charge $0.80 per hour. Cosmonet (Ca. 38, 33-62) has international calls beginning at $0.30 per minute, as well as broad band Internet. Skype is scarce.
