Location:
Salento, Colombia
City Walk
The Mirador de Salento is much more than meets the eye. First, you must climb the 200 stairs to the big cross at the top. Along the way, you will find signs that tell the story of Jesus. Follow the path to your left to the Mirador, which is a covered lookout with a grand view of Cocora Valley. There is a tourist office here providing all the information you need to know about the Cocora Valley, Salento, Armenia, and other sites in the department of Quindío. There is a path by the parking lot that will lead you down to the river and to other trails in the valley.
