The bus terminal is at Carrera 3 and Calle 6, seven blocks from Parque La Pola. You can catch any buseta passing along Carrerra 5 ($0.65, a taxi (up to five persons, $1.40) or walk it.
To Tumaco: Supertaxis—daily, 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. $11.30, 5.5-6 hours. Transipiales—daily 1:30 p.m. $10.25, 5 hours. Also Bolivariano.
To Pasto: Transipiales—daily, hourly. $3, 1.5 hours. Cootranar—daily, half-hourly. $3, 1.5 hours. Also Bolivariano.
To Popayán: Transipiales—daily, hourly. $14.40, 8 hours Cootranar— daily, half-hourly. $13, 8 hours. Also Bolivariano.
To Cali: Transipiales—daily, hourly. $18, 10 hours Cootranar— daily, half-hourly. $18, 10 hours. Also Bolivariano.
To Medellín: Bolivariano—10 a.m., 3 p.m., 7 p.m. $39, 20 hours.
To Bogotá: Bolivariano—daily, hourly between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. $42, 22 hours. Combis to the Rumichaca border leave from Calle 14, between Carrera 7 and 10, when full ($0.80), and taxis from one block further up on Calle 14 ($3).
Ipiales has national and international flights leaving from Aeropuerto de San Luís, six kilometres from the city, directly to Bogotá, Puerto Asís, Cali and Neiva, with connections to all other points in the country. Sam, Tame, Aces and Avianca are some of the companies providing service. A sample of one-way fares are: Bogotá, $131; Cali, $94-100; Puerto Asís, $52; Medellín, $153-180; Cucutá, $145; Cartagena, $138. Taxes and other fees are extra.
