The cheapest place to stay in Coconuco is Estanco Oficial Residencias: Official Liquor Store Inn. In the front is where the locals and tourists hang to have a drink (especially popular on weekends and holidays). Beyond another door, along one side of the back courtyard, are the rooms to let. During the week, you can get a restful sleep here. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds comfy. The four rooms share one clean, cold-water bathroom.
