High End Hotels in Parque Nacional Puracé

Accomodations in the area of Parque Nacional Natural Puracé are basic. There are only two options in the pueblo of Puracé, which serves as a base for visiting the attractions along the north road. Within the park itself are cabanas, a cheaper hostel (under renovation at present time) and a campsite, which are more convenient for scaling Volcán Puracé. Of the villages on the south perimeter of the park, Coconuco has more choices, as it is a destination in its own right thanks to the hot springs, where lodging and camping is also available. At vacation times, reservations are necessary, especially for Coconuco. December and January are busy months in the Parque Nacional, and their lodging full.
