By Lorraine Caputo

Your eating options in the Parque Nacional Natural Puracé region are fairly simple and limited. The menus are restricted almost exclusively to the comida corriente, or blue plate specials. Local trout also makes its appearance on the menus. At both Pilimbalá and Termales San Juan in the park are small restaurants operated by the indigenous community. Basic supplies can be picked up at general stores or the weekly markets in the villages.
