For more than 32 years Ecotema has been clothing Pasto’s populace with beautiful, natural-color shawls, ruanas, ponchos, sweaters and shoulder bags. This cooperative of local weavers uses merino sheep wool in their crafts, though only sweaters of synthetic fibers are available. Hand embroidery and appliqués trim some pieces. Doña Yolanda can also show you towels, hot pads and other items to decorate your kitchen.
