A vegetarian s home in Pasto Salud Pan

This is the only option for vegetarians in downtown Pasto--and unfortunately, only at lunchtime. The mid-day meal comes with soup, the main plate (with gluten or beans, salad and rice) and drink or soy milk; a half-portion will cost a hungering vegan $1.85, the full-helping $2.35. In other hours, Salud Pan's bakery presents whole-grain breads, sweets and flours. Choose between quinoa, soy, oat and multi-grain goodies. Be sure to taste the unusual radish bread. Open Monday-Saturday 8 a.m.-7 p.m.; closed Sunday.
