Cafetería Santo Domingo is a small, simply furnished café. Its lunch special sells out quickly--and for good reason. Not only is the meal tasty and inexpensive ($1.60), but the presentation has a special touch: all is served in black-fired pottery and wicker baskets. If you want just a quick snack, there are tamales and empanadas, as well as coffee, teas, malts, juices and beer. A word of warning to the tall diner: the second floor balcony has a low ceiling.
