Step into this Italian café with the wood-trimmed, mustard colored walls hung with Montreaux Jazz Festival posters. Pull up a wood-and-leather seat at one of the tables. Soon the wait staff will be with you. A pizza or pasta ($5-9.50), you will ponder, or perhaps something a la carte meat dish ($6.35-10.60). The pastas come with a small salad and delectable garlic-parsley-onion dressing on the side and bread. The canelloni comes with such generous portions of filling and sauce that the pasta is difficult to find. wine is an expensive accompaniment to your meal ($3.60 for a scant-half glass). Restaurante Pizzaría Italiano also offers a set-lunch plate for $3.70. Open daily, noon to 10 p.m.
