When the rain comes, pass the time in the two fine museums Tierradentro Archaeological Park offers. On the river side of the road is the Museo Etnográfico, describing the history and culture of the Nasa (Páez) peoples of the region. On the other side of the camino is the Museo Arqueológico, displaying artifacts from the tombs. One section explains the cultural connection with the area’s other great archaeological site, San Agustín. The guard will accompany you on your exploration and answer your questions (Spanish only; exhibition signs in Spanish only).
