It is very difficult to find a place to eat in Tierradentro. Many places advertising themselves as restaurants in the Parque Arqueológico area don't open or have food in the off-season. It is best to make meal plans in advance with an establishment. More dining choices are had in the village, 2.5 kilometers away. In San Andrés de Pisimbalá there's a bakery and a few small stores in the Parque Arqueológico area. Friday is market day in San Andrés.
