Bus
Barranquilla’s bus terminal is located in Soledad, five kilometers (3 miles) from the city. It is divided into four modules. Facilities include restaurants, shops, bakeries, bathrooms, phones, internet and ATMs, as well as a beauty shop and casino. To catch a buseta to downtown (45 minutes) or El Prado (1 hour), walk out of the station and cross the road on the left; buses pass by that corner.
To Cartagena: Berlinas —every 15-20 minutes 5 a.m.-6:30 p.m., $5.30, 2 hours.
Copetrán —half-hourly 5 a.m.-10 p.m., $6.35, 2 hours.
Brasilia—half-hourly 4 a.m.-11 p.m., $6.35, 2 hours.
To Montería: Brasilia—hourly 3 a.m.-3 p.m., $21.60, 6 hours.
Torcoroma —4 a.m., 4:40 a.m., 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:40 p.m., 9 p.m., 9:30 p.m., $16, 6 hours.
To Mompós: Unitransco —daily 7:30 a.m., $19, 5-6 hours.
To Medellín: Rápidos Ochoa—three morning departures 6:30-11:30 a.m. and six buses 2:30-11 p.m., $42-$58.30, 13 hours.

To Cali: Copetrán—noon, 8:30 p.m., $79, 24 hours.

To Riohacha/Maicao: Ochoa —11 p.m., $21, 6 hours. Brasilia—every 45 minutes 3 a.m.-3 p.m., half-hourly 9 -11:45 p.m., $18-21.60, 5-6 hours.
To Maracaibo/Caracas, Venezuela direct: Brasilia—daily 11 a.m., $44.75 / $92.15, 8 hours / 18 hours.
To Valledupar: Cootracosta—9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., $12.15, 4.5 hours.
Costa Line —hourly 4-11 a.m., $10.50, Copetrán—10:30 a..m., 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., $13.20.
To Bucaramanga: Berlinas—8:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m.

Brasilia—three departures, 4:30-8:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and three evening 7:30-11:30 p.m., All charge $47.50 and take 10-12 hours.
To Cúcuta: Berlinas—8:45 p.m., $63.20, 17 hours.
Air
Aeropuerto Ernesto Cortissoz, 10 kilometers (6 miles) from the city, is one of the five airports in Colombia with international flights, connecting Barranquilla with South, Central and North America. There are casas de cambio at the airport. Most airlines have offices in the El Prado district, as well as at the airport:
