Cartagena Things to See and Do

follow us

The best way to experience Cartagena is by foot. Cartagena has a long history, complete with pirates, rum, legend and lore; to make the sights you see more meaningful, visit a museum and the forts to get a sense of the fascinating events that have taken place in this Caribbean city. Walk through the plazas and along Las Murallas, the city鈥檚 famed wall, to enjoy the sea breezes. On a particularly lazy day, go to the beach. And for the snap-happy, be prepared to take lots of photographs of the colorful buildings.
