When to go
Temperatures in Cartagena range from just warm to hot -- and it’s usually hot. The only distinguishing factor in the weather is the humidity. Rain usually falls between August and November, but this doesn’t really detract tourists. Prices of accommodations are 20% higher in December and January and during La Semana Santa (in late March). In reality, though, Cartagena is a delight any time of the year.
