Voyage International students are immersed in a language and cultural program of their choosing in a very intimated and personalized setting. With 20 or 25 group lessons per week in the morning (the groups themselves never exceeding five students) and dance or volunteer activities in the afternoons, students are able to fully embrace their Spanish learning academically, culturally, and practically. The volunteer social work performed in the afternoon is through the non-profit organization called Funafamiliar, a place for young boys who have been living on the streets or who have had problems at home. This center is a nurturing place where volunteers develop friendships with the boys so that they can begin a healthy recovery, prepare their return home, and keep them off the streets. Voyage International also offers Spanish combined with scuba diving, kiteboarding, windsurfing, or sailing, when these sports are in season.
