El Torre del Reloj - Monument Cartagena - Colombia

The yellow clock tower at Plaza de los Coches, above the main entrance gate into the walled city, is one of the primary emblems of Cartagena. Built in the early 18th century, the four-faced clock was originally called “Bridge Gate because it joined Getsemaní with El Centro. In 1888, the republican-style tower was added to hold the clock. The Torre del Reloj, as it is known now, continues to be a landmark meeting place for residents in the city.
