Gato Negro

The very unsuspecting sign of a black cat outside a cerulean blue building on Calle San Andrés (just two doors down from Hostal Casa Viena) is the only indication that this small café exists. Specializing in vegetarian, breakfast or light lunch, this little place prepares crepes, salads, eggs, and other light snacks for around $3. The decor here is plain and sparse, and you can call ahead to take your meal out. Despite the reasonable prices, this is pretty much the spot for foreign travelers. You would be hard pressed to find locals at this little eatery.

Lovely place - try the chocolate-rum-cake!!!

The best breakfast in whole Cartagena: tasty crepe, delicious fruit salads, muesli with yoghurt and not to forget the home-made marmalade and fresh bread!!!!
