Casa Majagna

This restaurant's interesting mix of Italian and local Cartagenan meals, extensive beer and wine menu, and classy, lounge-like setting have drawn a healthy bunch of local loyals. The tables outside make for a perfect place to meet with friends and have dinner and drinks. The prices and overall atmosphere here are comparable to Tamarindo, which is located on the same square, but the type of food (Tamarindo’s tiny tapas verses Majagna’s hearty dishes) — though both very tasty — distinguish these two quite a bit. Let your stomach and your mood decide for you.

Traveler Reviews of Casa Majagna

Excellent Food!

We dined at Casa Majagna TWICE just cuz it was so good.  Very charming location at night- friendly, courteous and quick service.  The boss bought us drinks just to thank us for coming in.  The spaghetti carbonara is to die for- all fresh ingredients- as well as the meat plates- so succulent and roasted right there in front of your eyes.  Also try the huge limonada de coco- so yum!  Probably the least expensive restaurant of its quality in the area.  Good dishes start around 20,000 pesos.
