Roland's - Restaurant Providencia and Santa Catalina - Colombia

Roland Bryan Eden and his son Jason have the best spot on the best beach in Providencia, with its shaded and sheltered homemade tables and chairs clustered in a palm grove. With views of incredible Machineel Beach, Roland’s is a place to come for lunch and stay until dinner. Service may be slow, but if you are here you won’t want to leave. Try the house specialty: snapper with vegetables cooked in aluminum foil over an open fire—simply delicious. Reggae beats play at a pleasant volume and on occasion a live band plays in the evening around the burning embers of the central fire. While no credit cards are accepted here, prices are reasonable.
