Named after the famed corsair who used the island as his base on many an occasion and is said to have planned the sacking of Panama from Providencia, the Hotel El Pirata Morgan is a 30 room hotel (60 beds) on the beach at Freshwater Bay. The Hotel suffers in its environs partly for not being of traditional Caribbean build, but don't let this put you off. Each room is fully equipped with bathroom, air conditioning, has an ocean view, minibar and Direct TV.
