Right on the beachfront in downtown San Andres, the Portobelo could do with some upgrading. The most redeeming feature of the iffy looking rooms are the sea views. Although, if you are in San Andres to get your groove on and throw a few cold ones down, then you couldn't be in a better location at the Portobelo.

100%cleanest room I ever had in the Caribbean - nice restaurant in front, and other very good restaurants around, best beach in front - staff very friendly and helpful, transfer from the airport less than 5 minutes, 5 minutes walk to the center
