San Andrés, the archipelago’s largest island, has an interesting history that includes pirates and legends of lost treasures. Today, it attracts a visitor of a different stripe--tourists who come for the duty-free shopping, great beaches and excellent scuba diving. Other attractions include traditional architecture, some cheesy pirate mannequins à la Disney World at Morgan’s Cave, snorkeling at West View and the Blowing Hole.
