Located in the airport just back from the baggage reclaim man. Open at the hours when the Satena flight is due to land. Money Most hotels in Agua Dulce will accept dollars or exchange them. Otherwise the only bank and cash machine are located in Pueblo Viejo.

Keeping in touch

All of the larger hotels have telephone and fax facilities although internet is harder to come by. In Pueblo Viejo there is an internet café as well as in the offices of Body Contact Travel Agents in Agua Dulce.

Medical

The Medical Centre can be found in Pueblo Viejo, for any serious complaints a trip to San Andres is required. There is a pharmacy in the supermarket in Pueblo Viejo.

Laundry

There are no specialist laundrettes on Providencia, should you require laundry done you will likely have to contract someone to do so. The larger hotels have laundry services.

Religious Services

Most religious services are held in English on Providencia being the lingua franca of the islanders. There are Baptist, Adventist, Catholic and other Protestant churches available.

Shopping

There are a number of arts and crafts stores dotted around the island of varying quality. Unless you are terribly interested in these you will be hard pushed to find other things aside from excursions and dining to spend your money on.
