El Rodadero has a few museums of its own, focused of course on the natural and human history of the Caribbean Sea.

• Acuario y Museo del Mar del Rodadero—The first aquarium in South America with a museum recounting the sea-related history of Santa Marta (daily 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Ensenada Inca Inca, El Rodadero. • Mundo Marino— 25 panoramic aquariums plus a marine tunnel displaying over 700 organisms of the region’s ecosystem; has feeding times of the fish, sea turtles and sharks (daily 8 a.m.-noon, 2-6 p.m. Carrera 2 11-68, El Rodadero.
