Biosierra is the storefront of Fundación Pro-Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, which works with communities in the mountain range in the conservation and recuperation of the environment. Biosierra brings to the market bags by the Arhuaco, Kankuama, Kogui, Wayuu and Wiwa inhabitants of that holy land. Each nation has its own distinctive designs. From the campesino settlements are baskets, gourds and woodwork, jewelry, t-shirts, puzzles and other artesanía, including products such as organic coffee and honey. Biosierra also sells publications on this unique piece of Mother Earth. La Sierra de Santa Marta is available in Spanish, English, German, French or Japanese.
