El Divino Nino

Open only at lunchtime, El Divino Nino is the quintessential Caribbean beachfront eatery. Wooden tables are placed haphazardly on the sand and the menu is painted primitively on the back wall. Don't let the informality of the place put you off though, the prices are reasonable for Providencia and the food is sumptious. Seafood is of course the speciality but chicken is offered too. When we ordered fried fish, we discovered one platter often serves for two people - two sizeable and delicious red snappers arrived.

Price Description: Prices are reasonable but not cheap, be assured that the servings are large. fried fish $5, seafood rice $12, lobster in garlic $16.
