Kayaking

Nuqui offers a cornucopia of delights to the adventurous traveler with one eye on some adrenalin packed watersports. Each eco hotel that lines the rugged and dramatic coast near to the town of Nuqui can provide you with a kayak with which to hopefully view whales and explore the rocky promontories that interrupt each bay. If kayaking is not your thing then surf boards can be rented and guides hired to tow one out to areas of good surf near to Cabo Corrientes. Should your penchant be for things not on the ocean surface then diving and snorkelling excursions can be arranged as well to allow the visitor the unforgettable experience of perhaps spotting large groupers of green turtles.

Getting There
Unless you have arranged for a trip on a cargo boat from Buenaventura in the south the only way of getting here is to fly in from Medellin, Pereira or Quibdo.

Travel Tips: Check all euipment before heading out and make sure you are familiar with the tidal movements in the area. Do not attempt to touch the wildlife.
