Transportation

By Richard McColl

There are two viable options, sea and air. Boats come in bringing supplies from Buenaventura and if you are keen on being a true adventurer you might be able to buy a seat in a fisherman’s vessel coming or going from El Valle or Bahia Solano – although with shortages of gasoline this journey is not made frequently.

From Medellin, Aexpa and Satena have flights direct to Nuqui. Both airlines also fly here from Bahia Solano and Quibdo. Aexpa also covers the route Pereira – Nuqui.
