Climate & Geography
Quibdó is hot and wet. There is no effective wet or dry season since the rain is likely to fall at any time you are set to visit. The rainiest month is August and the least is February, but there is in effect little to differentiate the months. Chocó is said to receive up to 6 meters of rainfall a year and graphs from meteorologists show that it rains at least 20 days out of every month.
Festivals:
April – Celebration of typical Chocoano dances and foods.
September – The Fiesta of San Francisco de Asis.
