Restaurante Coma Bien

Location:
Calle 13 (Calle La Merced), in front of the Cootranar bus station, Tumaco
Tumaco, Colombia

Restaurant

By Lorraine Caputo

Near the bus stations, Restaurante Coma Bien is a convenient place to grab a comida corriente before hitting the road (or just after arriving from the long journey from Ipiales or Pasto). The cheapest in Tumaco, it offers not only the usual chicken or beef, but also fish and even on occasion shrimp or crab ($2.35 complete--soup, main dish and drink; $1.85 bandeja, main dish only). If you are a vegetarian, you can order the bandeja with eggs ($1.30). The service is quick and friendly in this small eatery.
