The sunlight dapples through the cane slats of small stand and onto the miscellaneous crafts exhibited. A small selection of bags and hand-painted mantas sway in the wind. These necklaces and earrings, the shell key chains and sculptures inscribed with Recuerdo de Cabo de la Vela are created by the younger artisans of this village. Also for sale are home remedies like aceite de tiburón (for coughs and all that ails you) and powdered mother of pearl (for sunburn, which you are highly likely to suffer here).
