The big festival in Manuare occurs in June, giving salute to all the things most important to its economy: Festival de la Sal, Gas y Flamenco. In addition to be Colombia’s greatest producer of marine salt, Manuare also has great reserves of natural gas. The third honoree, flamencos, of course refers to the pink flamingos that reside at Musichi.
