Tourism Office
The village does not have a tourism office, but it does a website where you can learn more about this destination: manaure-laguajira.gov.co.
Money
Manuare has a Banco Agrario, though no ATM or services for non-residents. Some shops handle transactions for major banks, but again nothing for the traveller. Reportedly Cachaco Carto, in the two story green building down in the market area, will change U.S. dollars (Carrera 4, between Calles 8 and 9).
Keeping in Touch
The Telecom office in Manaure closed a while back, and the village has no post office. Shops and stands charge $0.10-0.15 per minute for local and national calls. Several internet cafés are around the plaza; most close for lunch. Internet is more expensive here, costing $1.60-2.10 per hour.
Medical
The public hospital is E.S.E. Hospital Armando Pabón López (Calle 1 6-35, Tel.: 5-717-8020. There are few pharmacies: only three on Carrera 4, between Calles 4 and 7.
Religion
