Artesanía Wayuu Mutsia - Shopping Manaure - Colombia

The wall to one side of Artesanía Wayuu Mutsia’s front patio is like a picture dictionary, giving you an introduction to the Wayuu language. Inside, typical items await you, like wayuusheein (natural fiber robes) wayuusupatsu (sandals with pompoms) and waireñas (regular cloth sandals). There are also susu (bags), süi (hammocks) and ceramics. All items are made by Wayuu. Original paintings by Chicho Ruiz Ortiz are also available. During the high season, Artesanía Wayuu Mutsia is also open Saturdays.
