Coopmur - Tour Operator Manaure - Colombia

Coopmur—Cooperativa Multiactiva de Trabajo Asociado de Mujeres Rurales—is a cooperative of 12 local Wayuu women with the vision of sharing their world with outsiders. Through guided tours to the salinas, Musichi, local beaches, fishing cooperatives and Ruinas de Santa Rosa, you can get to know corners of the Manaure countryside few other tour agencies go to. These women are eager to share their culture and legends with visitors in an effort to dispel misunderstandings of their unique society. Coopmur also supports the creation of traditional Wayuu crafts, such as bags and hammocks.
