Restaurants
Manaure doesn’t have very many restaurants, and those close relatively early. If you are one to have a late dinner, you will have to change your schedule to accommodate that of these villagers. Past the west end of the beach are some basic shacks that serve basic comida corrientes and fish. Along Carrera 4, between Calles 6 and 9, is a street market and where you will find grocery stores. The formal mercado municipal is on Calle 9 between Carreras 2 and 3. As well as food, check here for Wayuu robes, bags and hammocks. Market day is Saturday.
Nightlife
You will find precious little in the way of nightlife in Manuare. Wayuu society frowns on drinking establishments, and its culture does not include any dancing other than for ceremonies.
