Just before dusk, a few tables are put out on the sidewalk and the ever-present barbecue grill is fired up. Soon the chickens are put on the rotisserie, their dripping grease singing as it hits the hot cools. By complete night, the small of pollo asado is drifting across the park and plates of poultry and potatoes being served to eager diners ($2.10 for a quarter of a chicken). Another name for Asados Mana is Mana Restaurante y Disco Licores, as in the back room is a bar serving cocktails, as well as national and international liquors.
