This simple, egg-shell white building with leaf-green roll-up doors restaurant with no name is one of the few dining choices in Uribia. For breakfast, you can have eggs with arepa and coffee or chocolate ($1.85) or the standard Colombian stewed or grilled beef platter ($2.65). From 11 a.m. on is time for almuerzo ($2.65); as in much of the Guajira, drink is not included. Evenings the tables are pushed back to make way for the dance floor of the town’s only regular disco, playing whatever the clientele want to hear. The restaurant is open daily 7 a.m.-4 p.m.; the disco Monday-Thursday 5-10 p.m., Friday-Saturday 5 p.m.-1 a.m.
