There are two tour operators in Uribia ready to take you on adventures into the Alta Guajira. Both have connections with the indigenous Wayuu communities, thus providing excursions as seen through the eyes of the people of this land, and in cooperation with and to the benefit of the rancherías. As well, SENA has a program here in Uribia to train local youth as guides (Tel.: 311-264-6903 / 421-1833 / 672-4115).
