Getting to and away from Quibdó

Transportation
Satena and Aires have regular flights to and from Quibdó Al Carano Airport from Bogota. There are also flights from Medellin and Pereira. From Quibdó, flights can be bought to Nuqui and Bahia Solano in addition to the major cities.

Road travel from Risaralda or Medellin is strongly not recommended despite apparently being an incredibly beautiful trip. The western regions of Antioquia, Risaralda and Quindio that border the Choco remain dangerous. However, if you decide to waive caution then Rapido Ochoa leaves three times a day from Medellin to Quibdo.
River travel is not recommended either.
