Things to Do in The Pacific Coast
Cultural curiosities, natural wonders, colonial opulence and adventure sports are just some of the attractions available in abundance along Colombia’s Pacific coast.
For the dancer in you, Cali is not to be missed. Spend a weekend there and wear out the souls of your two left feet while attempting to keep up with limber locals in the salsa capital of the world.
Visit Isla Gorgona, Ladrilleros, Juanchaco, Nuqui or Bahia Solano to marvel at humpback whales.
From Nuqui make the short trip south to Cabo Corrientes, where surfers claim to find the best surf conditions along Colombia's Pacific coast.
Finally, make your way to Sanquianga National Park to spy enormous sea turtles hauling their massive bodies up the beach to lay their eggs. If you can’t make this, arrive to watch the offspring hatch and strike out alone for the ocean.
