Owner‘s Description

With cheerful, outgoing staff and a party-hard atmosphere, it's no wonder that Blacksheep has become Medellin's most popular backpacker hangout. Speedy internet, wonderfully hot showers, and a VERY well stocked DVD collection are a few of the amenities on offer. Kelvin, the affable owner, can regularly be found behind the desk and is happy to chat about rugby, Colombia, or the many reasons why New Zealand is the greatest country in the world. He also cooks a mouthwatering barbecue every Sunday, to take the edge off of that all-day hangover you'll be nursing. The kitchen is fully equipped, but gets very crowded at mealtimes. Be sure to book in advance if you're arriving on a Thursday or Friday, as the place tends to fill up for the weekends and empty out on Monday.

Getting There:
From the Southern Bus Terminal, a taxi should not cost more than 3200 pesos. A taxi from the Northern Terminal will cost 8000-9000 pesos. For a cheaper option, hop on the metro (1300 pesos per person) to Poblado Station. From there it's a ten minute walk

Price Description:Prices include tax, and are fairly standard for Medellin hostels. Medellin itself is a relatively expensive city though.
