El Poblado is not a restaurant, but rather, a conglomeration of small, family-run establishments where one can dine out at lunchtime for the $2 mark. Set dishes are as you would expect: rice, beans, piece of chicken or beef, a nod at some salad and a juice to wash it all down. Hardy fare to fill those stomachs. So, rather than listing dozens of small places that could easily disappear in days, just head to Parque El Poblado around lunchtime and look for the signboards outside of these various establishments to see which food takes your fancy.
